Stage fear is your body trying to protect you. We retrain that signal.
Physical reset (2 minutes)
- Box breathing 4-4-4-4
- Shake out hands and shoulders
- Power pose for 60 seconds
Mental reset
- Replace "What if I fail?" with "Who am I serving?"
- Visualize the first 30 seconds, not the entire talk
On stage
- Plant your feet
- Speak to one person at a time
- Smile before you speak — it lowers your own cortisol
