Overcoming Stage Fear Forever

Stage fear is your body trying to protect you. We retrain that signal.

Physical reset (2 minutes)

  • Box breathing 4-4-4-4
  • Shake out hands and shoulders
  • Power pose for 60 seconds

Mental reset

  • Replace "What if I fail?" with "Who am I serving?"
  • Visualize the first 30 seconds, not the entire talk

On stage

  • Plant your feet
  • Speak to one person at a time
  • Smile before you speak — it lowers your own cortisol
